Short Bio

 

The La Vita Duo is a classical guitar and soprano duo based in New York City. Jeanai and her husband Giacomo La Vita have concertized throughout the U.S. and Europe, including a concert at the United Nations in Geneva in the Palais des Nations in Geneva during an environmental summit.

 

In addition to their work together in the La Vita Duo, Jeanai and Giacomo both have active careers as soloists. Individually, they have performed with the Metropolitan Opera, New York City Opera, Opera New Jersey, Boston Lyric Opera and the Ravinia Festival, to name a few. They have also both won top prizes in several national and international competitions.
